I’m Kyle Taylor, a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), Certified Welding Supervisor (CWS), and a welder with years of hands-on experience in the field and shop. I started out as a drafter, worked my way up through welding, and eventually stepped into roles managing welding processes, qualifying welders, writing WPS and PQRs, and leading quality initiatives in manufacturing. My foundation is built on doing the work—burning wire, solving problems, and learning from mentors who cared about doing things the right way.

I launched WeldLytics because I saw a gap: too many welders are handed a WPS and a wire spool without ever being shown the “why” behind the work. WeldLytics is about changing that. It’s about bridging the gap between welding science and welding practice—and making both accessible.

WeldLytics builds tools that work as hard as the people using them. We design and manufacture stainless steel weld gauges, including the Go-Gauge™ line, known for their durability, portability, and precision. But we're more than a tool brand.

WeldLytics is a platform for welders, inspectors, and educators—offering technical content, visual inspection resources, and real-world guidance to help raise the bar across the trade. From understanding microstructure and welding economics to breaking down the code book, our mission is simple:
